Neal Khan - The protagonist of the story. He has a different Servant depending the route. A normal college student who, through unknown means, ended up in a Fate world.
Eugénie Bernadetta - One of Neal's friends from high school. In most routes, she isn't a Master, but in some of the routes, she summons a Servant. Nicole isn't a mage, but she has innate magical abilities.
Yui Nishimura - Neal's friend from the university's GSA. She is the heir to two powerful mage bloodlines. The magecraft she specializes in is one of her own creation, not one learned from her parents.
Catarina Guerrero - An orphaned middle schooler who lives in a group home near the high school Neal went to. Like Yui, her bloodline is long and powerful. Her Crest is in the form of a grimoire left by her parents.
Andrea Brown - Eugénie and Louise's ex-girlfriend. In high school, she took an interest to Neal, and she now treats him like her personal research specimen. She is a scientist, the opposite of a mage.
Midori Nishimura - Yui's first cousin. Because of the traditional values of the Nishimura family, he is actually nameless, since he is not the heir to the craft. Midori is a nickname given to him by Yui when they were kids.
Julia Hawkins - An Enforcer from the Mages' Association sent to capture a Sealing Designation. She doesn't know any combat magecraft; she is a skilled creator of Mystic Codes.
Darius DeMarcus - A wise, elderly man who lives in the outskirts of the town. Like Eugénie, his "magecraft" is an ability, not a spell he casts. Unlike her, though, his ability is learned.
Min-Su Choi - An Executor from the Holy Church appointed as the Overseer of the Grail War in Walnut Creek. Being good friends with Yui, she may or may not have some partiality towards her.
